About The Traveler

The Traveler is the trading name of New Generation Hairstylists LLC, a limited liability company based in Land O Lakes, FL. The team behind it comes from behind the chair, with more than 100 years of combined salon experience.

That background is the whole reason this dryer exists. The people specifying the motor, the fold, and the cord length are the same people who have spent decades drying hair with tools that were never designed to travel.

We make one product: The Traveler (Model 8300), a folding professional dryer built around a BLDC motor. It runs at 1800-2000W, supports dual voltage from 120-240V at 50/60Hz, weighs 1.19 lb, and ships with a 7.2-foot professional cord, a magnetic concentrator nozzle, and a drawstring storage pouch.

Full specifications are listed on the product page. We would rather do one dryer properly than put our name on a catalogue of things we do not use ourselves.

We sell direct. There is no reseller in between, which is how the price stays where it is. When you check out, you are handed to Shopify checkout on shop.thetraveler.shop. Shopify processes the payment, and we never see or store your full card number.

Shopify sends your order confirmation and, once the order ships, a shipping notification with carrier tracking. If anything about an order looks wrong, one email reaches a person who can fix it.

We currently sell and ship to customers in the United States only, with free standard shipping on every order and no minimum. We are not set up for international orders yet.

The dryer itself is dual voltage, so it works on 120-240V grids worldwide. A plug adapter may be needed depending on the outlet, but do not use a voltage converter or transformer with it.

Every order is covered by a 14-day return window and a one-year limited warranty. Both are written in plain language, with no restocking fee on eligible returns.
